We host national and international photographers, writers, visual and new media artists.

ALL YEAR ART RESIDENCIES

PARTICIPATE IN THE EXHIBITION 2018

Anima Casa Rural Artist Residency (ACRAR) has teamed with Daniel Diaz Gallery to offer past and future artists in residence an opportunity to exhibit their work in the city of Guadalajara. This annual juried art show will take place each October, with work exclusively from Anima’s artists in residence.

There are two ways to have your work considered for exhibition:

  1. Donate one or more works to the Anima Archives during your stay with us. We will take care of framing your work, and all work in the archives will be considered by our juror/curator.
  2. Send us five images of your work to be considered for exhibition. If selected, you are responsible for paying all shipping costs. In the case of unsold work, you have the option of either donating your work to the Anima Archives or paying for it to be returned.

Guidelines:

-No work exceeding 3 meters in any direction will be considered.

-Shipped work must arrive (BEFORE SEPTEMBER 24TH) ready to hang/install, with clear instructions where necessary

-Insurance must be secured at each artist’s discretion and ACRAR is not responsible for any work lost, damaged, or stolen.

-Artists will receive 50% of sold works (minus framing costs in scenario one– see above). Payment will be issued within 30 days of the exhibition closing.
