WE ARE AN ACTIVE PROJECT THAT AIMS TO PROMOTE AN ECOLOGICAL AND SUSTAINABLE DAILY PRACTICE, INVITING YOU TO SHARE, LIVE AND LEARN WITH US

Our need to share our respect and value for life is at the root of this project.

Casas rurales are literally “rural houses”, but the term covers all sorts of accommodation types: furnished rooms, mini-hotels, farmhouses, villas and sprawling ranches. ANIMA is no exception. Here you can experience excellence in rural tourism in México.

ANIMA’S RURAL BED & BREAKFAST

LIVE THE ANIMA’S EXPERIENCE

Encouraged by our mother Mari Calleros, our family left Guadalajara, Mexico in 2003. Her support and our hard work have shaped the origins of what ANIMA has become today. In appreciation of her heritage, as she is originally from Cora/Huichol from Huajikori Nahuatl, we named our rooms, patios, kitchen and terraces with words that embrace her history, especially as it reflects our current world.

WHAT OUR GUESTS THINK ABOUT ANIMA

“Anima is truly beautiful. The food they cooked was all harvested and raised on the property. Great conversations and laughs every day. If you are visiting Mexico, a visit to Anima’s is a must. Highly recommended.”

Patrick, From Albuquerque, NM

“Anima’s rural house is ideal if you are looking for a rural experience of Mexico with loving people and animals around. Relax in the pool or the rooftop deck or get your hands dirty feeding the chickens and picking vegetables.”

Greg, From Toronto, Canada

“La casa es muy bonita y acogedora, hospedarse en un rancho rodeado del bosque y donde producen sus propios alimentos de manera sustentable es una experiencia increíble, y Julián y su familia son excelentes anfitriones… seguro volveremos!!!”

Marco, From Guadalajara, México
